Information in the app
TailDose stores information you enter: pet profiles and photos, birth dates, treatments, doses, appointments, weight, activities, notes, caregiver names and documents. Optional walk recording may include precise location. Photos and documents may contain personal information: include only what is necessary.
Storage and sharing
The app uses local storage and Apple iCloud/CloudKit private or shared databases. There is no TailDose server collecting your journal. Sharing participants can access shared information, including attachments and routes. Widgets and Apple Watch may receive copies needed for their functions. Exported files are passed to the apps and recipients you choose.
Permissions and control
Manage notifications and location permission in iOS settings. Photos and documents are accessed using system selection features. TailDose does not require its own account; iCloud uses your Apple Account. Revoking a permission does not automatically delete previously saved or shared information.
Support and website
When you email support, your address, message and attachments are processed to answer your request. Cloudflare forwards this email address to Gmail. The website is hosted through Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure; providers may process connection information such as IP addresses and logs for service delivery and security. These pages do not embed advertising, analytics or profiling cookies configured by TailDose.
Purposes, grounds and retention
Correspondence is processed to respond to your request and provide support; security and possible disputes rely on legitimate interests where applicable. We do not use support messages for marketing. Correspondence is retained as needed for the request and any documented legal obligations or protection needs. Journal information remains in your storage while you retain it: deleting the app does not guarantee deletion of iCloud, exported or other participants’ copies.
Deletion and rights
Delete entries and documents using the available app functions and manage iCloud data in Apple settings. For help with complete removal or to exercise rights over information received by the controller, email the contact above: access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection, where applicable. The controller cannot directly inspect or erase your private iCloud database. You may complain to the Italian Garante or your competent supervisory authority.
Providers and transfers
Apple, Cloudflare and Google operate internationally. Their processing is subject to their terms, privacy policies and safeguards required by applicable law. We do not sell journal data or use it for advertising tracking. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
